My experience living in the accommodation has overall been a very positive and supportive environment for me. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to both my department and library, and the nearby shops and city facilities make daily life very pleasant.

What I've particularly appreciated is how responsive and helpful the team has been — whether it was sorting out maintenance requests or offering guidance when I first moved in, their support made a real difference, especially as an international student settling into a new environment.

Being part of the Family Accommodation at the University Graduate Accommodation has been one of the most grounding and positive experiences of our time as PhD students. For the first time since becoming students, we've felt a genuine sense of peace and permanence. As a mature student couple, having a space we could truly call our own, without constantly moving, without the stress of being separated into different accommodations, has made all the difference. This home has allowed us to build both our family life and our academic work in harmony. The maintenance team has also been amazing: responsive, professional, and always helpful. Knowing we were supported in that way only added to the overall sense of stability. This accommodation hasn't just been a place to live, but it's been a space where we've been able to thrive, personally, as a couple, and in our PhD research. We're so grateful.
